Hadley Bajramovic, J.D.
Director
Hadley joined the International Scholar Center in September of 2006. Hadley has a Juris Doctorate degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, University of Memphis. She is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Tennessee. While in law school, Hadley won the CALI award for International Law and coordinated the start of the successful Pro Bono Immigration Project which now services dozens of immigration clients who would have otherwise been unrepresented.
Hadley has a strong background in employment and family- based immigration cases after working for the nationally renowned law firm Siskind Susser Bland Immigration Attorneys. While clerking at Siskind Susser Bland, Hadley was a regular contributor to the Siskind Immigration Portal,a weekly bulletin providing immigration law information to the public. Hadley also worked on a project to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina with immigration issues which was recognized by the Department of Homeland Security.
Currently, Hadley is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Hadley plans to apply her experience, education and associations with international immigration institutions to the International Scholar Center to enhance the immigration services provided to the international community at UCR.
Suzan Dockery International Scholar Advisor MA Political Science
Suzan Dockery joined the International Scholar Center in March 2007. Suzan has a Master’s Degree in Political Science as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Studies. Both degrees are concentrated on American Foreign Policy and were obtained at The University of Memphis, Tennessee. Suzan was the president and founding member of Epsilon Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society of International Scholars. She is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a Political Science Honor Society. She also interned, and later worked, at the International Student’s Office and The Intensive English for Internationals at her University. While completing her M.A., she also interned at the Gandhi Institute for Non-Violence. She gained experience in immigration law while working for Siskind Susser Bland Immigration Attorneys. She has lived and taught English in Egypt and Kuwait for 4 years, and is proficient in all dialects of Arabic.
